Candace Galiffa, CPA

President

Candace Galiffa has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for over a decade. After studying Accounting at the University of Pittsburgh, Candace traveled solo through much of Australia and Europe. She began her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and then held various leadership roles in corporate accounting, finance, and investments.  

After nearly a decade in Corporate America, she decided to focus on her entrepreneurship roots. She founded NewWay Accounting to serve small business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as provide modern accounting solutions and outsourced CFO services to corporations.

Candace lives in Chadds Ford, PA with her husband Phil and their daughters Giavana and Layla.

Jen Gugger

Accounting Manager

Jen first dipped her toes into the accounting waters to lend a hand to a friend who was short staffed. From there her love of numbers prompted a change in her college major! Jen has worked in both public accounting and in construction specialized accounting. She lives in East Greenville, PA with her husband Will and their daughter Shaelyn. During her off hours she can be found on adventures with her daughter making memories.

Stephanie Provenzano

Accounting Manager

Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Penn State University. She began her career at Ernst & Young and has since worked in corporate accounting and at a local public accounting firm. She lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband Matt and their two kids Maria and Wyatt. When she isn’t working she enjoys staying active and making memories with the family.

Stefanie Hess

Staff Accountant

Stefanie has worked in accounting for over 25 years. She’s worked in public accounting as well as local and international non-profit agencies, real estate, and property management. She was born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Stefanie and her husband decided to travel the country when their children graduated from college and began their adult lives. When she isn’t working, you can find her on a hiking trail, on the water, or planning the next stop in her RV.  

Kathy Mercer

Staff Accountant

Kathy became fascinated with Accounting after being challenged by one of her teachers in high school to balance a paper ledger. Challenge accepted! It was then that she knew she wanted to be an Accountant; however, she knew she could face some hurdles with pursuing higher education and gaining experience having a father and husband who both served in the United States Air Force. Luckily, moving all around the US, as well as abroad, Kathy has been able to work in various areas of Accounting for over 20 years. During her off time, you can find Kathy with her husband and son in the dojo, where they are all working towards their Black Belts in karate. Of course, as a native Floridian that lives on the Gulf Coast of Mexico, she spends plenty of time paddle boarding or enjoying having her feet in the sand! 

Julie Anderson

Tax Manager

Julie Anderson is an Enrolled Agent and has been preparing taxes for over 20 years. She specializes in business taxes and enjoys working with small business owners. She currently lives in Newport, VT. Julie enjoys traveling and likes to vacation at her Florida home whenever she can.

Mallory Davenport

Staff accountant

Mallory graduated with a Bachelor’s in Accounting from University of Delaware. After college, she moved to a small town in Western New York where she lives with her husband, 2 kids, dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks. Mallory has been helping small business owners with their accounting and bookkeeping for 12+ years!

Monica Paré

Tax Accountant

Monica was born and raised in northern Vermont and has always had a passion for numbers. She holds an Associates Degree in Accounting along with 8 years experience in bookkeeping and tax preparation. When she’s not busy crunching numbers, she spends her free time hanging out with her 2 young sons and 3 dogs. 

Molly Hale

Social Media Manager

Molly Hale is an Instagram and Influencer Marketing Strategist who works with ass-kicking, massively scaling brands of all sizes. She’s passionate about bringing diversity and inclusion into the influencer space as well as practical and sustainable (yet out-of-the-mundane) digital strategies for her consulting and full-service clients. Molly marries together the world of Facebook Ads and Influencers.
